Em is now accepting patients with Cigna insurance. She is also accepting Wellness Plan, patients without insurance and those needing treatment for a motor vehicle accident or work related injury.
Em has experience treating a wide variety of complaints and has a passion for: Sports injuries, Chronic Pain & injury treatment, Digestive disorders, Addiction, Mental & emotional balancing, and Stress-related conditions.
Currently treats patients ages 12 and up.
Em treats acute & chronic pain, sports and car accident injuries, mental health and more. Em received her masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and holds a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). After finishing school, she traveled to Nepal where she worked as an acupuncturist and primary care physician. Em has studied under Matt Callison, deepening her knowledge to treat orthopedic patients and learning new techniques to provide lasting treatment. She has a diverse clinical background, with experience in group acupuncture settings, private practice, and integrative healthcare clinics.
Em’s mission is to inspire patients to take an active role in their well-being through balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and integrative medical care. Her approach is gentle, welcoming and intentional. East Asian medicine has an emphasis on approaching health with a holistic lens; integrating the mind, body and spirit. Our body has an inherent ability to heal itself given appropriate time and space.
Outside the clinic, Em enjoys exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her mini Labradoodle, Ruby. She is an avid backpacker, hiker, and skier who loves discovering new destinations—both close to home and around the world.
