Is it painful when acupuncture needles are inserted?
Unlike injection needles which are thick and hollow, acupuncture needles are fine and thin, and generally should not produce painful sensations.
How often can I expect to come in for treatment?
This varies patient by patient. Your practitioner will work to create a health treatment plan for you at your initial visit, which may include recommendations for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions. Some patients also come in for “tune ups” as well.
